Es la forma más común para los locales y viajeros independientes de moverse entre las dos ciudades.

This is the most common way for locals and independent travelers to move between the two cities.

  1. Ir al paradero: Toma un mototaxi desde la Plaza de Armas de Tarapoto hasta el «Paradero de Lamas». El mototaxi suele costar entre S/ 5,00 y S/ 7,00.
  2. Go to the Paradero: Take a mototaxi from the Plaza de Armas in Tarapoto to the "Paradero de Lamas" (Lamas Station). The mototaxi ride should cost between S/ 5.00 and S/ 7.00.
  3. Tomar el colectivo: En el paradero encontrarás combis o autos compartidos que se llenan de pasajeros. Costo: entre S/ 10,00 y S/ 15,00 por persona (algunos buses públicos desde S/ 5,00). Duración: aprox. 30 a 40 minutos. Ruta: se sale por la carretera Fernando Belaúnde Terry (dirección Moyobamba) y se toma el desvío señalizado a la derecha que sube a Lamas.
  4. Take the Colectivo: At the station, you will find minivans or shared cars filling up with passengers. Cost: Between S/ 10.00 and S/ 15.00 per person (some public buses may be as low as S/ 5.00). Travel Time: Approximately 30 to 40 minutes. The Route: You will travel northwest on the Fernando Belaunde Terry highway (direction Moyobamba) and take the marked detour to the right that leads up the hill to Lamas.
